I am just as bad. It runs in all my famliy. Ok im from the U.K. but go to the chemist and to the counter ask for a packet of syndols. They contain 5 mg paracetomol and 10 mg codiene. I take these and there very good.

I can’t believe they would not prescribe some medication for you. I take Imitrex for my migraine headaches. It is in pill form, but my MD said if it doesn’t work, she can prescribe me a shot to take that is fast acting. No one should have a headache for 14 days. That’s ridiculous!! Go back to the emergency room, or see your doctor and demand treatment of some sort to get rid of the headache. I’m sorry no one has treated your pain you poor thing!

Drink soda with a lot of caffeine even coffee the caffeine in the soda and the coffee will open your arteries that’s why you get a headache because they are closing and opening….

I get migraines too. I went to the doctor and he game me immitrex, you take it right when it feel it coming on and it stops it! Then he gave me some medicine to take every day to prevent them. So just ask your doctor for immitrex, it works GREAT!

keep a migraine diary and follow up with the neurologist. learn patience as it may take some time to find the meds that work for you. avoid your triggers and stop using Nsaids.
