I went to the hospital and got treated for the migraine, but there isn’t anything they can do about the numbness. Is there anything that I can do about it? On average, how long will it last?

Numbness that accompanies a Migraine should be gone when the Migraine is over. Migraine abortive medications such as Imitrex and meds like it will usually stop all Migraine symptoms, not just the headache. If your Migraine is gone, but the numbness continues, you need to see your doctor. Good luck.
I had the same problem when I ihad migraines and I finally went to a Neurologist and he prescribed Topomax and said it is very common and it is called Complicated Migraines when you have numbness or tingling associated with migraines. I have been taking it for 4 years now and it has helped tremendously. It even helps to stop a migraine from coming on. Try and go see a Doctor and ask them about this medication and explain your symptoms. A Neurologist would probably be best. I hope you are feeling better and things work out for you.
