Good question.
Most cures only focus on the end result and not the cause. What I do with patients in your situation is focus on restoring proper posture. It sounds like you have Forward Head Posture.

Postural changes cause the muscles of the neck and back to become overactive and tight. Tight neck muscles directly cause tension on the covering of the brain (the dura) and thus cause headaches. Researchers found an anatomical bridge between the dura mater covering the brain and a small cervical spine muscle. This explains how this phenomenon may occur.

If the ear is not aligned with shoulder there is stress on the cervical muscles. Think of it this way: if you hold a 12 pound bowling ball in your hand with your arm perpendicular to the floor the weight of the ball is mostly being supported by the arm, if you hold it farther in front of you your muscles have to do the work to maintain the weight of the ball in front of you.

The farther your head is from where it is supposed to be the more work your muscles have to do. I forget the math, it basically increases the relative weight of your head by double. When your posture is out of alignment all day at work your poor muscles need to be worked on and your alignment needs to be corrected. The best treatment is : massage the muscles, adjust the spine, traction to correct any loss of cervical curve and postural exercises.

Here's a tip: roll up a towell like a cigar and put it on the ground, lay on it just above midback. You need to reverse the Forward Head Posture. Also stretch your pec's.

Check out the place that I get natural pain spray. It works fast ans smells ok too. A headache usually starts at the base of the head. Always massage your neck after taking headache meds.

You could learn to use the Emotional Freedom Tapping procedure, which is very easy. This is like acupuncture but without needles and you can do it yourself, even when sitting in the call center. You can download a free manual, which already gives you the basics to start with it.
Lots of water is indeed also important.

Do some streching exercises. Stand up and move around as much as possible. Rearrange your computer monitor so the angle does not strain your neck. Adjust your chair higher or lower for comfort.
